Social Programs
At the University of Georgia there are following social programs:
- Fee postponement;
- Fee concession;
- Employment of students at the University;
- Provision of meals;
- Other programs.
How to involve in social programs?
Social Issues Committee of UG Fund discusses the applications about fee postponement and fee concession.
Student must apply to the Social Issues Committee with an application form.
Committee is totally independent structure; consequently an applicant student must be a member of UG Fund.
(Application form will be available on-line, one month prior to the work of Social Issues Committee)
Is there a deadline to present the application?
Student should present the application form to the Social Issues Committee within the predetermined deadline, which coincides with the working period of Social Issues Committee.
- 1-25 May
- 20 June – 5 July – for the students of Summer term;
- 25 August – 10 September
Social Issues Committee has right to held special meeting; in this case student will be informed.
When the student's demand is not discussed in Social Issues Committee?
In the very first semester, student's demand is not discussed, nerveless, tuition fee might be postponed.
When the decision of Social Issues Committee is declared to students?
Students are known the decision of Committee, within 10 days after the deadline is closed.
