Dear Students of the UG! Firstly, I would like to thank you for your choice and promise that you will never regret your decision, as all our directions and programs you are going to cover, are based on the best of modern educational systems and international experience.

Before establishing our School of Social Sciences, we – the UG administration, had a long discussion – what kind of education to offer you. We made a choice of Western model – as bringing up good managers and specialists is possible only on the base of modern demands.

XXI century is the epoch of politics and communication. Politics and journalism programs will provide you with the best knowledge in Georgia, consequently will make you one of the most important and useful person. Only by the synthesis of theoretical knowledge and practice, we will bring up the specialist who will guarantee the worthy future of Georgia.

In order to prove that our school is based on the most important values of politics and media and creates modern Georgian reality, the priority of which is a balanced work, we decided to support a student production, such as: the newspaper “Observer”, which is published quarterly and describes an interesting stories for society, the stories that are interested in our everyday life and need the deep research and analysis. We do not grow up the generation, a priority of which is sensation, but we grow up the generation who will carry out their professional duties and will be focused only on public demands and interests.

Implementing the modern programs in Georgian Educational System is a proof that we have different and modern view how to create worthy future for Georgia.
