Cases of Re-enrolment of a Student in the University and the Resumption of His/Her Studies

A student, willing to be re-enrolled as a student of the University, has the right to do so in case the University signs a new contract on the terms set for that time. Re-enrolment for the academic year and continuation of the studies is possible for the students who had to cease their studies because of an accident, illness, business trip, in the case, if they have written on time (in the period of the suspension of studies) an application and have officially requested to suspend their studying process temporarily, i.e., an academic leave.

Taking an academic leave

An academic leave can be taken by semesters – not more than 2 semesters, one academic year ad sum, if:

  • a student wants to study abroad
  • has a serious disease
  • a member of his/her family needs special care
  • is pregnant (females only)
  • Or in some valid circumstances accepted by the School Council and the Rector When re-enrolled, the student continues studying from the semester when his/her status was suspended. The student willing to take his/her academic leave must foresee that the University guarantees to keep the tuition fees for the study only within the terms determined by the program If a student takes an academic leave after the semester starts, the money paid won’t be returned and he/she will have to re-pay the according sum.
